Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dalí i Domènech, Marqués de Dalí de Pubol (11 May 1904 – 23 January 1989), known as Salvador Dalí, was a prominent Spanish surrealist painter born in Figueres, Catalonia, Spain.

The “Conquest of the Cosmos” series was first introduced in 1974 (Cosmos I) and 1977 (Cosmos II) published by Jean Lavigne. This series was hand signed in pencil by Salvador Dali. The creation of the remarque emerged as the portfolio cover design. Consequently, the remarque arrived too late to be used so it was archived and now adorns this fully licensed image to create a special momento of this new edition published in 2007.
